The shelf at Pair runs across the whole map of premium tobacco. Cuban cigars anchor the heritage end of the catalog, with houses rolling leaves from the Vuelta Abajo into the formats they have built their reputation on for over a century. Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran cigars cover the broader spectrum of the New World — from the elegant balance of Cibao Valley blends, to the bold spice of Estelí and Jalapa, to the rich, earthy Honduran style. Mexican wrappers from the San Andrés valley appear across blends as the dark, sweet maduro layer that anyone smoking seriously eventually learns to appreciate.

Half of Pair is a working cigar lounge. There is seating, the right kind of ventilation, decent glassware, and a team that understands that picking a cigar is an act of conversation, not a transaction. You can buy a single cigar and smoke it on the spot, ask for two cigars from different origins to compare side by side, or sit through a full Churchill with a coffee or a pour. The lounge is open every day from 11 AM to 1 AM — the same hours as the boutique.
